Bio

Helio Eudoro is a Toronto-based Brazilian-Canadian hunter and gatherer artist whose work spans photography, videos, paintings, sculptures, installations, and performances. Exploring themes of gender, sexuality, diaspora, and aging, his art critically analyzes layers of concealment, addressing issues of exclusion, sociocultural erasure, and discrimination. He holds an Honours Bachelor's degree in Sculpture and Installation from OCAD University, Toronto, as well a Bachelor's degree in Social Communication and an MBA in Strategic Management from ESPM (Superior School of Advertising and Marketing), Brazil. He has received recognition through grants and awards, including the 2023 Newcomer Space Award, 2022 OCADU Carmen Lamanna Award, and 2020 RBC Newcomer Arts Award. His artwork has been exhibited internationally in galleries and museums, including prestigious exhibitions at the Art Museum at the University of Toronto (2023) and ArtworxTO (2022). Eudoro's art is featured in collections such as the Museu de Arte Contemporânea do Paraná and the Museu de Arte Contemporânea of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
